Our Pub...

Welcome to The Great Northern Railway Tavern.
A Grade II listed public house in the heart of historic Hornsey.

This elaborate 3 storey neo-Jacobean building, completed in 1897 has recently been carefully and sympathetically refurbished, while still retaining the all the stunning original features that make it so loved by locals.

We offer a tasteful range of carefully selected beers and wines, and promise more than your usual generic high street pub offering!
We have achieved
Cask Marque status for our diligence in keeping our ale perfectly conditioned, we have a locally sourced, freshly prepared menu with old favourites and exciting new dishes regularly added, and we have regular events each month that offer something for everyone, for the music fans we have regular blues, rock ‘n’ roll, jazz and ska nights, we also have bookswaps and celebrity author readings for the bookworms among you.

Come visit and see why everyone’s talking about The Great Northern Railway Tavern!

Everybody's got to believe in something
